Information We Collect

When you submit a quote request or contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, date of birth (optional), and any additional information you provide (coverage amount, monthly budget, notes). We also collect standard web analytics data including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and marketing attribution parameters (UTM tags, Google Click ID, Microsoft Click ID, Facebook Click ID).

How We Use Your Information

Your personal information is used solely to respond to your insurance inquiry, provide you with quotes and policy information, measure the effectiveness of our marketing, and improve our services. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

We use the following services to process your information. Each service has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data:

  • AgencyBloc — CRM where quote requests are stored for follow-up (agencybloc.com/privacy-policy)
  • Web3Forms — Backup email notification when a quote request comes in (web3forms.com/privacy)
  • ZeroBounce — Verifies your email address is real before we submit the lead (zerobounce.net/privacy)
  • Google Analytics 4 & Google Ads — Website traffic analysis and conversion measurement. We send hashed (SHA-256) email and phone data to Google Ads for Enhanced Conversions so we can measure which ads work without exposing your raw contact info to Google (policies.google.com/privacy)
  • Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise — Bot protection on our forms. reCAPTCHA analyzes mouse movement, keyboard timing, and device fingerprints to distinguish humans from bots (policies.google.com/privacy)
  • Anthropic — Our chat assistant ("Emma") uses Anthropic's Claude API. Messages you type in the chat are sent to Anthropic for response generation. Per Anthropic's commercial terms, your conversations are NOT used to train their models (anthropic.com/legal/privacy)
  • Slack — Internal notifications when you submit a quote or start a chat, so we can follow up quickly. Notifications stay within our private Slack workspace
  • Meta Pixel — Conversion tracking for Facebook/Instagram ads (only active when we're running paid campaigns; disabled by default). When active, Meta can set cookies on your device (facebook.com/privacy)
  • Microsoft Clarity — Session analytics for UX research (only active when explicitly enabled; disabled by default) (privacy.microsoft.com)

Cookies and Browser Storage

We use cookies and browser localStorage for the following purposes:

  • Marketing attribution cookies (90-day lifetime): GCLID, MSCLKID, FBCLID — tell us which ad brought you here so we can measure ROI
  • Session storage: UTM parameters and click IDs for your current visit
  • Form draft (localStorage): If you start filling out a quote form and navigate away, we save your name/email/phone locally in your browser for up to 1 hour so you can pick up where you left off. This data never leaves your device until you submit
  • Retry queue (localStorage): If your quote submission fails due to a network error, we retry automatically in the background. Unsent submissions are purged after 24 hours
  • Chat history (localStorage): Your chat conversation with Emma is stored in your browser for 24 hours so you can continue where you left off

You can clear any of this data by clearing your browser's site data for this domain.

Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information. All form submissions and API traffic are transmitted over HTTPS encryption with HSTS enforced. Our server is configured with strict Content Security Policy, X-Frame-Options, and other security headers. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and no system is immune to determined attackers.

Data Retention

Quote requests stored in AgencyBloc are retained for as long as you remain a prospect or customer, plus any period required by Florida insurance law. You can request deletion at any time (see below). Server access logs are retained by our hosting provider (Railway) per their log retention policy. Browser-side storage (cookies, localStorage) follows the timelines listed in the "Cookies and Browser Storage" section above.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at itsinsuranceali@gmail.com or calling (239) 800-8508. We respond to verified requests within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

This site is intended for adults evaluating life insurance. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated via a notice on the site.
